How you can help
Your support will give a child a future. Whether you sponsor a child, support a Choir tour, or serve as a volunteer - you will be helping Africa’s most vulnerable children. Listed below are some of the programs that we are currently running; you may sign up to become a supporter of any of these programs right away, or if you would like more information you can contact us: help@prestige-towers.net
1. Child Sponsorship
As a sponsor you are changing the life of a child. Our sponsorship program includes three types of sponsorship: Choir Member Sponsorship, Child Sponsorsihp, and University Sponsorship. For these sponsorships we seek long term commitments from individuals or groups.
2. Where Needed Most
A gift to this fund will be used towards an area of operation where the need is most urgent. Programs are delivered in Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda and South Africa. You may also designate your gift towards a particular country.
3. Volunteer
One of the greatest gifts is yourself. You can help Africa’s children in your own community whether you host a concert, organize an event, or have your church or group help us with our current relief fundraising projects. We also offer volunteer opportunities through our Team Africa to assist with special projects in Africa or as Choir Chaperones on our tours.
4. Friend of the Choir
As a Friend of the Choir you become part of the Choir’s extended family, and make it possible for our Choir tours to continue. Friends of the Choir give a monthly pledge of their choice that contributes toward travel costs, medical needs and other expenses of the Choir will on tour.
5. Relief and Development Fund
A donation to this fund will be directed towards our current relief and development program in nKomazi, South Africa, where the AIDS pandemic is devasting the entire region. Relief efforts are always directed to those areas where children are facing extreme hardships and suffering.
6. Special Projects
Early in 2007, King’s Park International Church in North Carolina will begin hosting the African Children’s Choir at a home base in the Raleigh area. This exciting partnership will allow the choir to rest, play, and focus on school work between tours, while giving the local community opportunities to interact with choir children and staff. The choir plans to perform at various local events in 2007, including several performances at KPIC. For this ambitious endeavour to be successful, we are looking for individuals and corporations to partner with KPIC and the African Children’s Choir. There are many current project needs, ranging from volunteer helpers to corporate sponsorships. For more information about this project, or to find out how you could be involved, please contact with us.
